Formed at Villanova University, The Bench Stealers are a five-piece alternative rock band delivering a punchy, guitar-driven sound with a proven regional draw. The band’s definitive identity locked into place with the 2025 addition of powerhouse vocalist Amelia Cate, whose commanding delivery fronts an anthemic attack and a lock-step rhythm section.
Moving away from standard indie tropes, the group favors high-energy arrangements, intricate guitar interplay, and sharp, gritty songwriting. Backed by the dual-guitar engine of Beau Mowery and Marco Buciarelli, alongside the driving rhythm section of bassist Connor Sherlock and drummer Luke Fabietti, the band delivers a high-impact live set built for the club stage. Following their debut single "I Wanted You," the band is releasing a series of new singles throughout Summer 2026, building momentum for their debut EP launch this fall.
Proven Local Draw: Strong, active student and young-adult following spanning the Main Line and greater Philadelphia.
Established Venues: Recent successful sets at 118 North, The Rusty Nail, and The Kelly Center.
